A Therapy Practice Built for Every Version of You

Founded in 2018 and located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, Wove Therapy is a psychotherapy practice designed for anyone who has ever wished their therapist worked harder to truly understand them. We specialize in intersectional, compassionate care for adults 18 and older — especially those with marginalized, overlapping, or underrepresented identities.

The name Wove reflects what we do: we weave together your experiences, histories, identities, and relationships to help you understand yourself more deeply. Your race, gender, culture, sexuality, immigration story, and lived experiences are not footnotes to your mental health — they are central to it.

We are proud to be a member of Inclusive Therapists and a supporter of the Mental Health Liberation movement. Our practice operates with an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and liberation-oriented philosophy that puts your humanity first.

Our Core Values

Realness

Therapy for the people, by the people — no jargon, no judgment

Depth

You are more than your symptoms. You have a history, layers, and a deep self worth knowing.

Community

We build a shared space where clinicians and clients with marginalized identities are centered and celebrated.

Our Mission

Wove Therapy provides exceptional mental health care with an intersectional, affirming, inclusive, and anti-oppressive lens. We center both clients and clinicians with marginalized identities — because representation in the therapy room changes everything.
